This paper contains interesting insights of 60's
decay. Some definitions for learning, pattern recognition and even
fuzzy logic! I like the idea that the paper talks about relevant and
less relevant features and focus more on relevant features at the
beginning. It also mentions that intelligent systems always need
initial supervision and then they can go by themselves. This makes
sense when we look at the human child too. On the discussion page,
there is a nice example of how "cascade correlation" might be useful.
Also they mentions to start with simpler problems and then extend it to
more complicated environments. (Alborz)
